Hello beautiful reader!
After taking a break from blogging and switching to a new blog provider, I am now in the process of rebuilding my blog to look and function the way that it used to on my old provider. I will be making structural changes to the site over the next few days and will begin blogging again shortly after that.
I look forward to having Love Your Healthy Life up and running again soon!
Stay tuned...
Love,
Grace

What I Want (and a Really Special Offer - be sure to read this!)

In last week’s Self-knowledge Sunday post, my dear friend Julia left me a beautiful comment answering the question I posed to you all (What do you want?) and then asking the same question of me. (By the way, speaking of comments, I’d love to see some from you lovely ladies! Don’t be shy!)
Because of that I was inspired to share with you a bit more about me and what I want, and also to share a really special offer, so make sure to read until the end (or jump to the end now if you want to :)
OK, here goes!
What I Want:
I want to live in Paris for at least a year. I’ve loved the French language and culture since I was a young girl and I’ve never felt more alive than when I visited Paris two summers ago.
I want to become an amazing ballroom dancer. I had never taken any dance lessons before last year when I got a chance to dabble in it, and I loved the way dancing makes me feel – sensual, beautiful, vibrant, and alive!
I want to move closer to my family so that I can see them more often.
I want to spend warm summer evenings hosting get-togethers and having long, meaningful conversations about life with friends.
I want to expand my health coaching business and work with hundreds of women each year.
I want to buy a gorgeous farmhouse in the French countryside and host healing, inspiring, and life-changing coaching retreats.
I want to help fill the world with women who are vibrantly healthy, who love themselves passionately, and who are living the life of their wildest dreams.
I want women to be their own role models and inspiration. I want us all - me, you, and all women - to see that we are beautiful - inside and out.
I want us treat ourselves like the divine goddesses we are, to care for ourselves exceptionally, to be our own lovers and best friends.
And then I want us to fill the world with that awakened energy, beauty, passion, joy, and love.
That is what I want, and because I am so passionate about what I do, and I know that there are probably many of you reading this who are on the fence about reaching out for some support, and I want to put out a special offer:
I am going to give 6 lucky readers 2 free sessions with me. That means you’ll get a free discovery session with me (during which we will go through your health goals and current challenges and create a personalize plan of action), as well as a second free hour-long coaching session.
This will give you the opportunity to see if you would like to continue to receive personalized support around your health and life goals. Of course there will be no obligation to continue after the two sessions, if you decide it isn’t right for you.
I am confident that I can help you change your life and reach new levels of health and happiness.
If you would like to enter for a chance to win, simply send me a message (scroll to the bottom of the linked page) with your name, age, and why you feel you might benefit from one-on-one coaching and support.
This offer will be open for one week, and next Sunday I will send out e-mails to the 6 lucky winners.
I am so looking forward to working with you and seeing your transformation!
Love,
Grace

Recipe Wednesday: Summer in the Springtime Salad
Even though the first day of spring was only yesterday, it's been feeling a lot more like summer over here in MA! And while that does make me worry about the state of our global climate, it's hard to complain when the weather is this beautiful!
And as spring is clearly here, now is the perfect time to begin introducing more raw, fresh foods into our diets. Yesterday I went to Whole Foods and bought a beautiful tomato, some yummy sprouts, and a big, juicy cucumber and whipped up this delicious salad:
Summer in the Springtime Salad with Creamy Balsamic Dressing:

Summer in the Springtime Salad with Creamy Balsamic Dressing:
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 big handfuls of chopped romaine lettuce
- 2 big handfuls of spring mix lettuce
- 1 large carrot, peeled (to remove the dirty outer layer) and grated
- 1/2 large tomato, cut into chunks
- 1/4 large cucumber, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup sprouts (I used sunflower sprouts)
- Sunflower seeds, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
For dressing:
- 2 - 3 tablespoons hummus
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Lemon juice, to taste (I use a teaspoon or two)
- 2 tsp of water
Directions:
- To make the dressing, put all of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix together until smooth. Add more water as needed until it is creamy but not too thick. Give it a quick taste, and add more lemon juice or balsamic, if desired.
- Put all of the salad ingredients except the tomato and sunflower seeds into a large bowl. Pour in the dressing and mix everything together until the lettuce is evenly coated.
- Put the salad onto plates and garnish with the tomato and sunflower seeds.
- Enjoy!

Grace

Songs to Make You Smile: Everybody by Ingrid Michaelson
Happy Monday, beautiful readers! Enjoy this feel-good song by Ingrid Michaelson. Make sure to read the meaningful lyrics...
Love,
Grace
We have fallen down again tonight
In this world it’s hard to get it right
Try to make your heart fit like a glove
What it needs is love, love, love
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Happy is the heart that still feels pain
Darkness drains and light will come again
Swing open up your chest and let it in
Just let the love, love, love begin
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
oh everybody knows the love
Everybody holds the love
Everybody falls for love
Everybody feels the love
Everybody steals the love,
everybody heals with love
Oh, oh, oh, oh, just let the love, love, love begin
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved
Oh, oh, oh, Just let the love, love, love begin
Everybody, everybody wants to love
Everybody, everybody wants to be loved

Self-Knowledge Sunday: What Do You Want?

What do you want?
It’s funny how we really only hear that question when we’re discussing what to eat. (What do you want for breakfast? What do you want to drink? What flavor do you want?)
But right now I’m asking you much more than that. I'm asking you, what do you want? What do you want for your career? What do you want for your friendships? Your romantic partner? Your home? Your adventures? Your life? What do you want in this moment? What do you want for tomorrow and next week and five years from now?
What do you want?
If you are unhappy, frustrated, or disappointed with your life, or you simply have the feeling that there could be more, stop and ask yourself:
“What do I want? What do I really want?
What is my body crying out for?
What is my soul longing for?
What does my heart desire?”
When you allow yourself to get quiet, to open the channels and tune into the frequency of your being, the answers will flood in. You will know exactly what it is that you truly desire.
And then all you have to do is act.
End the disappointing relationship, quit the soul-crushing job, call that long lost friend, trash the processed guilt-inducing junk foods, book the flight to Paris, take the warm bubble bath, open your Etsy shop, turn on the radio and sing, put brush to canvas, hug your body, jump up and down, cry, skip, laugh, have your cake and eat it too.
If you desire it, it is your right to have it. You deserve it.
You do.
This is your one precious, wild, beautiful life. Are you going to spend it ignoring your heart’s calls or answering them?
Think about it.
Love,
Grace
